ISE Students Receive €10,000 EDI Scholarships

On Tuesday 13th of February, five ISE first year students were presented with scholarships totalling €30,000 thanks to the generous contributions of three ISE Partner companies. 

The Transact Campus scholarship of €10,000 was presented to Alisia Kazimierick by John Burton, Vice President of Software Engineering at Transact Campus. 

The Intercom scholarship, also valued at €10,000, was split between Edmund Phelan and Darragh Luby who each received €5,000. The Intercom award was presented by Oisin Hurley, Senior Engineering Manager at Intercom.

The third and final scholarship, sponsored by MongoDB and also valued at €10,000 was presented by Ger Hartnett, Lead Performance Engineer at Mondo DB. The award was split between two ISE students, Ushen Wijayarantne and Samir Bioud who each received €5,000.

The purpose of each scholarship is to foster Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in ISE by providing financial support to students to support their journey through the ISE programme.
